Pennsylvania Photographers exists for one reason: to bring customers to Pennsylvania's independent photographers — not to sell photographers overpriced, shared leads.

This site is built and run by Howard Pepper, the photographer behind Unscripted Photography in Somerset, Pennsylvania — PA wildlife and horse-country photography, shot from his home base in the Laurel Highlands. Retired Army veteran. He shoots the same weddings-and-barns, eagles-and-arenas Western PA that most of the photographers in this directory work in.

Placeholder — Howard's full story goes here. 2–4 paragraphs in his own words: why a working photographer built a directory for his own competitors, what he learned pricing his own work, and what he wants this to become for Pennsylvania's photography community. (Slot: about text.)

On the big lead marketplaces, a photographer pays $20–$60+ for a "lead" that is sold to roughly five competitors at once — and billed whether or not the customer ever replies. This directory works the other way:

How listings get here

We research operating Pennsylvania photography businesses from public sources (their Google business profiles and their own websites), build a factual starter profile, and invite the owner to claim it free, correct it, and make it theirs. Any business can ask to be corrected or removed at any time — contact us.
